What is the "Unable to store license in file '/var/local/beamr/beamrtrans/license.lic'"?

Hi.

When I start the transcoding (HEVC) using the beamrtrans, I see the logs as below.

$ beamrtrans -i bike1.mp4 -o 4k_bike1_Faster_qp_24.mp4 -v hevc -vepr Faster -vfqp 24

I didn’t understand the meaning of the logs as
2019-12-13 13:02:45.161 [Warning] 59901 Beamr Transcoder: [0] Unable to store license in file '/var/local/beamr/beamrtrans/license.lic'. Error=Permission denied(13).

I can’t see the above log at yesterday (2019-12-12).

However, the output file is played without trouble.

Could you tell me the meaning of the above log and solve the issue.

Thank you.

Hi Joonyoung,
This warning appears when the transcoder is run without the root permissions (sudo). It’s a normal situation, you can ignore it in the future.
Thank you!

Thank you for your answer!
